Order Status in Nettailer
To ensure that the order status in Nettailer is up-to-date, it relies on the delivery status messages received from the suppliers on individual purchase orders. These messages may include track-trace IDs and serial numbers along with the status update.
However, there are two possible scenarios that may impact the receipt of status updates from suppliers.
- Firstly, if the supplier cannot technically support status updates, no updates will be received.
- Secondly, for suppliers who do generally support updates, there may be instances where errors occur in their handling or exceptions for specific products like non-physical items that prevent updates from being received.
In cases where there are issues with updates, Nettailer offers the ability to investigate the status and cause of a specific supplier or purchase order, upon request (PDB). If no updates are received from the supplier, the order update must be done locally through the order admin.
